Murata gave up an earned run over 1.1 innings, giving up two hits and a walk in a loss to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Murata spent the majority of 2015 with Triple-A Columbus and compiled a 15-4 record along with a 2.90 ERA in 164.1 innings. If the 30-year-old can once again produce those types of numbers for the Indians' top minor league affiliate, he could be a candidate for a big league promotion in 2016.
