Pacers defeat Raptors, 140-123, behind 30 points from Haliburton
The Indiana Pacers took down the Toronto Raptors, 140-123, at Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday night.

It was the home team Raptors (25-54) who got off to a hot start Tuesday, winning the first quarter by 10 points. The Pacers (46-34) took control in the second quarter and continued that momentum into the third, as they outscored Toronto 81-56 over the two middle frames. Indiana was able to match buckets with the Raptors in the fourth quarter, and both teams opted to empty their benches down the stretch. The Pacers improved to 21-19 on the road, while the Raptors dropped to 14-27 at home.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 30 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals. Obi Toppin led the bench with 23 points, six rebounds and two assists, while T.J. McConnell posted 17 points, two rebounds and seven assists in reserve. Pascal Siakam returned to the city he started his career with and finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Myles Turner added 16 points and four rebounds.

RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 23 points, four rebounds and four assists. Kelly Olynyk contributed 22 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Javon Freeman-Liberty added 20 points and eight rebounds. Bruce Brown led the bench with 16 points, three rebounds and five assists. Gary Trent totaled 16 points, three rebounds, four assists and four steals.

The Raptors wrap up the 2023-24 season with a three-game road trip Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets. The Pacers have a two-day rest before visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
