DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Saturday brings seven games in the NBA, highlighted by a rematch between the Golden State Warriors and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Warriors won convincingly in their first meeting last Saturday, so the Sixers will be looking to prove themselves with a win on their home court this time around. Let's look to make you a winner on DraftKings for the evening as well. Consider the players below with favorable matchups for your entry.

Guards

James Harden, HOU at MEM ($11,100): Harden is red hot as he has scored at least 60.3 DraftKings points in three straight games. The return of Chris Paul didn't hamper Harden's value Thursday as he still scored 67.5 DraftKings points. Paul should see more minutes in this game, but Harden can still put up monster numbers as he has the best usage rate (36.4%) in the league.

Dillon Brooks, MEM vs. HOU ($4,200): Brooks has quietly put together a solid stretch as he has scored at least 21.0 DraftKings points in each of his last four games. He's not just a scorer as he grabbed at least four rebounds and recorded at least one steal in all four of those games. The Grizzlies as going to need all the production they can get from Brooks against the high-scoring Rockets, so look for him to provide value at this price.

Mario Chalmers, MEM vs. HOU ($4,100): Chalmers started Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers in place of Mike Conley (Achilles), scoring 21.5 DraftKings points in 30 minutes. With Conley out Saturday as well, Chalmers should start and play extended minutes again. The Rockets play at a fast pace, which should mean added opportunities to produce. Both he and Brooks are viable cheap options who can out produce their price point in this game.

Forwards

Blake Griffin, LAC at CHA ($8,900): Griffin provides a player with an extremely high floor as he has scored at least 33.5 DraftKings points in all but one game this season. He is the focal point of the Clippers offense with Paul now in Houston, evident by his 28.9% usage rate. Considering his reliability and that he is going up against a struggling Hornets team, Griffin is an excellent option for your entry.

Tyreke Evans, MEM vs. HOU ($7,000): Evans is rolling as he is averaging 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 three-pointers over his last three games. He was excellent when these two teams met last week, scoring 41.3 DraftKings points. He'll be responsible for shouldering more of the offensive load with Conley out, leaving him with a great opportunity to excel Saturday.

J.J. Redick, PHI vs. GS ($4,900): Redick has been an excellent fit in Philadelphia, stretching the floor and providing veteran leadership for a team on the rise. He's averaging career-highs in both minutes (33.0) and shot attempts (12.7) per game as teams focus defensively on Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Redick scored 34.3 DraftKings points when these teams met last week and you shouldn't be surprised if he provides similar production in this game.

Centers

Marc Gasol, MEM vs. HOU ($8,200): Gasol had a monster performance Wednesday against the Pacers that resulted in 70.8 DraftKings points. He scored 35 points in the contest, clearly stepping up his game with Conley on the sidelines. Expect that trend to continue with Conley out again, leaving him as one of the best options at center for the evening. His 28.0% usage rate already ranks him in the top-25 in the league.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC at CHA ($6,600): Jordan dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday as he scored 20 points to go along with 22 rebounds and three blocks. He continues to be one of the elite rebounders in the league as he has grabbed at least 14 rebounds in a game seven times this season. In a traditional center matchup against Dwight Howard, Jordan will be in line for plenty of minutes and production in this contest.

Ryan Anderson, HOU at MEM ($4,400): Ryan has been a much better player on the road this season, averaging 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.8 three-pointers away from the Toyota Center. His usage rate is only 11.6% at home, but it jumps all the way up to 16.9% on the road. If you need to save money at center, take a chance on this trend continuing Saturday.
