Wednesday brings only six games in the NBA, but there are plenty of elite players to choose from on Yahoo as the Rockets, Timberwolves, Pelicans and Cavaliers are all in action. Here are some players to both target and avoid when crafting your entry.
GUARDS
Jimmy Butler, MIN at CLE ($43): Butler's usage rate is steadily climbing in his first season with the Timberwolves and currently sits at 24.8%, the second-highest of his career. He has a high floor in DFS as a result, scoring at least 38.8 Yahoo points in 11 of his last 12 games. He gets to face a bad Cavaliers defense Wednesday who he scored 51.1 Yahoo points against earlier this season. Don't hesitate to make Butler a part of your entry.
Ricky Rubio, UTA at MEM ($25): It took Rubio awhile, but he finally looks comfortable playing for the Jazz. He's in the midst of his most productive stretch of the season, scoring at least 30.5 Yahoo points in six straight games. He is averaging a career-low 5.2 assists per game this season, but has dished out at least nine assists in four straight games. The price is right to take a chance on him extending his hot streak Wednesday.

Guard to Avoid
Eric Gordon, HOU at MIA ($24): Gordon is a very important part of the Rockets success and has done a great job filling in when James Harden and Chris Paul have been injured this season. However, when they are both healthy, Gordon sees a significant decline in playing time and production coming off the bench. With 24 Yahoo points or less in six of his last seven games, Gordon doesn't have much potential Wednesday.
FORWARDS
Blake Griffin, DET vs. BKN ($43): Griffin has not missed a beat since joining the Pistons, averaging 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in three games. Wednesday brings a great matchup against the Nets who play at the sixth-fastest pace (101.1 possessions per game) and allow the seventh-most Yahoo points per game (46.2) to opposing power forwards. As long as this game stays close, Griffin should be in line for a valuable performance.
Bojan Bogdanovic, IND at NO ($13): Bogdanovic has scored at least 18 points in four straight games, resulting in at least 31.3 Yahoo points in three of those contests. He's dialed in from behind the arc, shooting 53.8% on three-pointers in those four games. Wednesday he gets to face a bad Pelicans defense that allows the second-most points per game (111.1) in the league, making him someone to consider at this cheap price.
Forward to Avoid
Domantas Sabonis, IND at NO ($23): With Myles Turner now healthy, Sabonis has shifted back to the bench for the Pacers. He is only averaging 24 minutes per game as a member of the second unit, which puts a damper on his upside. He's scored 25.4 Yahoo points or less in three of his last four games, so it might be best to avoid him Wednesday.

CENTERS
Andre Drummond, DET vs. BKN ($50): Drummond has not slowed down since Griffin joined the Pistons, scoring at least 45.5 Yahoo points in all three games the two have played together. Wednesday brings a fantastic matchup against a Nets team that allows the most Yahoo points per game (53.9) to opposing centers. Drummond averaged 14.5 points, 16.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in his first two meetings with the Nets this season, making him someone to consider again in their third matchup.
Rudy Gobert, UTA at MEM ($31): Gobert has been a steady contributor since returning from injury, scoring at least 33.4 Yahoo points in eight of nine games. He's been a monster defensively, averaging 2.8 blocks in those nine contests. It won't be an easy matchup against Marc Gasol on Wednesday, but Gobert is still a viable option at this reasonable price.
Center to Avoid
Pau Gasol, SA at PHO ($22): Gasol doesn't have a ton of upside, scoring 23.9 Yahoo points or less in three of his last five games. He's played 22 minutes or less in four of those five games, which helps to limit his production. While the Suns are not a good defensive team, it still might be best to stay away from using Gasol on Wednesday.
