DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

There are eight games in the NBA on Saturday, seven of which make up the main slate on DratfKings. With the Warriors, Thunder and Timberwolves all in action, there are plenty of elite options to choose from for your entry. Here are some players to consider across the price scale to hopefully finish with a winning lineup.

Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC at GS ($11,600): Westbrook's 34.6% usage rate is second-highest in the league, giving him one of the highest floors at any position in DFS. He enters Saturday having scored at least 52 DraftKings points in seven straight games. One of those came against these same Warriors when he scored 57.8 DraftKings points. He's expensive, but should be well worth the price.

Zach LaVine, CHI at MIN ($7,500): LaVine was on a minutes restriction when he first returned from injury, but has played at least 30 minutes in five of his last six games. He's taken advantage of the added opportunities, scoring at least 34.3 DraftKings points in all five of those contests. His 30.7% usage rate is by far the highest on the Bulls, giving him the potential to provide value again Saturday.

David Nwaba, CHI at MIN ($4,600): Nwaba moved into the starting lineup Thursday against the Sixers, playing 33 minutes and finishing with 40.3 DraftKings points. The Bulls are going to play their young players even more down the stretch, so expect Nwaba to see an increased role going forward. He's logged at least 30 minutes in a game seven times this season, averaging 13.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks in those contests. At this price, it's hard to pass him up.

Forwards

Paul George, OKC at GS ($9,300): George has been very consistent lately, scoring at least 42 DraftKings points in seven straight games. He's excelled in his first two meetings with the Warriors this season, averaging 29.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 steals and 5.0 three-pointers. It helps that the Warriors play at the second-fastest pace (102.6 possessions per game) in the league, so expect big numbers from George again in their third matchup.

Andrew Wiggins, MIN vs. CHI ($6,200): The Timberwolves suffered a tough blow Friday when Jimmy Butler went down with a knee injury. The severity of the injury isn't known yet, but he's not going to play Saturday. Butler missed four straight games towards the end of January due to injury as well, leaving Wiggins to score at least 32 DraftKings points in three of those contests. The Bulls are not a good defensive team, giving Wiggins the potential to provide excellent value at this mid-tier price.

Nemanja Bjelica, MIN vs. CHI ($3,400): Bjelica is another player who should see an increase in value due to Butler's absence. In the four games that Butler missed in January, Bjelica scored at least 22.3 DraftKings points three times. He played at least 26 minutes in all four contests and is someone worth taking a risk on Saturday at close to the minimum price.

Centers

Julius Randle, LAL at SAC ($7,400): Randle recorded a triple-double Friday against the Mavericks, finishing with 52.3 DraftKings points. He's now played at least 30 minutes in four of the five games since Larry Nance Jr. was traded to the Cavaliers, scoring at least 41.8 DraftKings points in three of those contests. His price is going to start climbing if he keeps this up, but it's still low enough to make him worth considering Saturday.

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. DAL ($7,300): Injuries have marred Gobert's season, but he's healthy now and playing well down the stretch. In nine February games, he's averaging 13.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.3 blocks. With the Mavericks lack of size up front, Gobert is going to be tough for them to slow down. In their first meeting this season, Gobert had 17 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and six blocks. Look for a productive stat line in their rematch.

Alex Len, PHO vs. POR ($5,100):Tyson Chandler (neck) has missed the last two games for the Suns, leaving Len to start and score at least 37.3 DraftKings points in both contests. The Suns center position has been a source of frustration in DFS this year, but Len can provide value when given enough minutes. If Chandler is unable to play again Saturday, Len could be a steal at this price.
