Darrington joins Toledo by way of Tennessee, with whom he averaged just 2.6 points in 8.4 minutes per game last season. He should have an opportunity to claim a rotational role with the Rockets in his final collegiate season, giving the program some quality reinforcement following the departure of Mid-American Conference Player of the Year Tre'Shaun Fletcher.
