Emelogu has returned to action Thursday against Connecticut after suffering a knee contusion earlier in the contest, Adam Grosbard of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Mustang fans can breathe a sigh of relief after Emelogu had a scary incident early in Thursday's game that resulted in him having to be helped off the floor. Fortunately there's nothing structurally wrong with his knee and he is already back in the game. However, it will be worth monitoring how much Emelogu practices in the coming days before SMU returns to action Sunday against East Carolina.
