Custer has been one of the leaders on Loyola's balanced scoring attack, posting a 12.2 PPG average through five tournament games. He was the only Rambler to convert a three-point basket Saturday, which was likely one of the key factors in the Cinderella's downfall. It's also a testament to the Michigan defense that Custer did not record a single rebound or assist after averaging 4.0 assists and 2.0 boards during the four game leading up to the Final Four.
