Pleads no contest to marijuana charge
Vickers pleaded no contest last week to a Dec. 27 marijuana possession charge, Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

A Tallahassee police officer stopped Vickers shortly after the Seminoles returned from their Independence Bowl victory over Southern Mississippi, with the running back admitting to having marijuana but stating that it was provided to him by an unnamed teammate. Vickers also had a scale in his possession, which he indicated was not for selling drugs but to know how much he was buying. The 22-year-old appeared in 12 games during his redshirt junior season, but didn't log a carry and recorded four receptions for 50 yards. It's expected that Vickers will receive discipline from the school once the legal process concludes.
