ANALYSIS
Walters had two games left over from a six-game suspension he received near the end of last season, so he'll be eligible to play for the first time when South Alabama host Texas State on Saturday. Tra Minter has had the most opportunities with 24 carries but only has 24 yards as a result, while Kawaan Baker has 13 carries for 91 yards and Maurice Mayo has 12 for 20 yards. Walters only had three carries for six yards last season, but the lack of production from the guys at the top of the depth chart during his absence leaves the door open for him to earn a spot with regular playing time.
