ANALYSIS
The expectation has been that Gray would not play again this season, but his presence at practice Tuesday suggests he could be available for Saturday's bowl game against Louisville. Gray is the leading returning receiver for the Bulldogs after the graduation of Fred Ross. Gray has been a big-play threat throughout his time with Mississippi State, and he averaged a stout 17.3 yards per catch as a junior in 2016. Gray does not have the size of the aforementioned Ross, but Gray still managed to find the end zone five times last season. The Bulldogs will run the ball plenty with dual-threat quarterback Nick Fitzgerald and running back Aeris Williams, though Gray is the undisputed No. 1 target at wide receiver heading into the 2017 campaign.
