Ray announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he intends to transfer from Louisiana-Lafayette.
ANALYSIS
Ray will secure his undergraduate degree this spring and will spend his final year of eligibility elsewhere after four seasons in Lafayette. He didn't log any carries or receptions as a redshirt junior in 2018 after accumulating 146 rushing yards and six touchdowns as a Wildcat quarterback. Ray could play under center at his next school or line up as a receiver.
