John Crockett

Undrafted in 2015, Crockett soon latched on with the Packers, but failed to earn a roster spot and was relegated to the practice squad for much of the campaign. However, disciplinary issues arose amongst the Green Bay running back corps late in the season, and the rookie was finally given a chance to play. He merely stumbled for 21 yards across nine total carries, but the coaching staff evidently liked him enough to let him stick around another year. Notably, starting tailback Eddie Lacy has seemingly perpetual conditioning issues, and backup James Starks now resides on the unfriendly side of 30. Should something happen to either of the aforementioned pair of runners, Crockett could easily find himself in a role conducive to fantasy success while caddying for Aaron Rodgers. For now, though, Crockett enters 2016 as nothing more than an insurance policy behind Lacy and Starks.

Crockett has an opportunity to to earn a spot on the Packers' Week 1 roster, but his chances took a hit when he opened training camp on the PUP list due to an ankle injury. It remains to be seen if he will have enough time to get healthy and get up to speed in the offense to make the cut.
