ANALYSIS
The 2017 fourth-round pick hasn't been able to get his footing in the NFL and last played in the 2018 season. He spent last season on Washington's practice squad, and Chesson could be headed for a similar assignment this year.

After being selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Chesson spent the vast majority of his rookie campaign working on special teams. The addition of Sammy Watkins this offseason further dampens his outlook, though it would be a minor surprise if he didn't make the 53-man roster.
Selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft, Chesson possesses measurables (6-3, 33.25-inch arm length) built for the NFL. However, a knee injury suffered at the end of his 2015 junior campaign at Michigan may have impacted his abilities on the gridiron. After catching 50 passes for 764 yards and nine touchdowns in 2015, Chesson finished 2016 with just 35 grabs for 500 yards and two touchdowns. While erratic quarterback play may have contributed to his downfall, he also didn't appear up to snuff as a senior. The rookie wideout will have to earn a 53-man roster spot in training camp and seems unlikely to make a major impact in his first professional campaign.
