Badie signed a contract with the Cardinals on Friday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Arizona had an opening at running back after undrafted rookie fullback Austin Ramesh left the team Thursday. Like Ramesh, Badie was bypassed in April's draft, despite accruing 1,517 rushing yards in four years at Tulane. Although he enjoyed some success as a runner, he arguably made more of a name for himself as a return man on special teams. His chances of making the Cardinals' final roster are bolstered by the fact that neither T.J. Logan and D.J. Foster -- the current top options to return kickoffs -- are locks to survive final cuts.
