Free Agent Index: Monitor the Moves

Free Agent Index: Monitor the Moves

This article is meant to keep tabs on player movement this offseason, both by free agency and trade. You can first find the free agents, with the players sorted first by position, then in a descending subjective order of general player value. The exception is cut free agents, who are listed at the bottom of their given position. When a player is signed, their name will be crossed out. Click on the crossed out name to see their contract update.

The trade table is listed immediately following the free agents. Click here to head straight to the trade log.

In an attempt to make this article your one-stop venue for tracking all player movement this offseason, including the incoming rookie class, we'll also list here our content relating to the analysis of the 2018 rookies in dynasty and redraft leagues. Click here to read my dynasty rankings for the rookies (18 QBs, 40 RBs, 56 WRs, 20 TEs). Click here to read a three-round dynasty rookie mock draft conducted by John McKechnie and I.

Shifting back to the veterans: the list is designed to be somewhat comprehensive, especially regarding quarterbacks and skill position players – anyone at the positions typically relevant for fantasy football, in other words – so there will be plenty of uninteresting names on the list. But even the signing of a Mark Sanchez type can perhaps lend some insight into a team's assessment of its current roster, so we'll try to consider as much as possible, though occasionally taking the liberty of omission. Restricted free agents of note will be listed after the unrestricted list for a given position.

(This article is presuming Drew Brees returning to New Orleans is all but predetermined).
