Goalie
Cam Talbot, EDM vs ARI ($8,000): After a brutal three-game stretch, Talbot has bounced back nicely in his last two starts. He has two wins and has allowed just four goals total in the two games and looks to continue that momentum at home Tuesday against the Coyotes. I like his chances of winning as a heavy favorite at home, and the $8,000 price is the lowest it's been all season. Talbot should easily hit and surpass value against one of the league's worst teams.
Center
Vincent Trocheck, FLA at NYR ($5,700): Trocheck and the Panthers come into Madison Square Garden for their second game in as many nights. Trocheck has continued to have a great season as the focal point of Florida's second line. With a goal last night, he has two tallies and two assists in his last three games. Trocheck had a goal in this matchup earlier this season and is in a good spot against a Rangers team that has struggled with centers.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, EDM vs ARI ($5,100): With trade speculation floating around regarding Nugent-Hopkins, he's done his best to play through all the chatter and draws a great matchup Tuesday. The Coyotes have allowed the most fantasy points to centers this season, and Nugent-Hopkins has eight goals and nine assists as a value center.
Wing
Josh Bailey, NYI vs VAN ($5,600): Bailey has points in 15 of his 23 games with five goals and 23 assists to this point. Skating alongside John Tavares and Anders Lee has been a big reason why he's been so good. This trio skates together on the power play, as well, making for an intriguing tournament stack.
Jeff Skinner, CAR at CBJ ($5,900): Skinner is showing signs of coming around in the goal department. He's still getting pucks to the net, as he hasn't had less than three shots on goal in any of his last eight games. He also has four assists over that span, so he has been involved offensively. In his last six games against Columbus, Skinner has three goals to go along with three assists, and the Jackets are playing their second game in as many nights Tuesday.
Tomas Hertl, SJ at PHI ($4,600): Hertl has skating on the team's second line and top power-play unit recently. He has two goals and an assist over his last two games and has the luxury of facing a Flyers team that just played Monday. He's averaging nearly four shots on goal over his last five and has seen between 16 and 19 minutes of ice time over that span.
Defense
Rasmus Ristolainen, BUF at TB ($5,000): Ristolainen is involved in the offense, blocks shots, plays on the power play, and kills penalties. He missed some time with an injury, but in his two games back he has two assists, seven shots on goal and ten blocks. In a game that should feature a fast pace, expect Ristolainen to jump in and see some high-quality scoring chances.
Tim Heed, SJ at PHI ($3,600): Heed has come in and made an impression for the Sharks. He has three goals and five assists in 18 games, averaging over two shots on goal per game. He scored his second power-play goal of the year in his last game and makes for a nice value option that will help you pay up at other positions.
