FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

Goalie

Robin Lehner, BUF vs BOS ($7,300): Lehner has been great overall in his last five starts, averaging 23.04 fantasy points per game over that span. I expect him to see between 31-34 shots Tuesday and if he's on, he'll pay off in a big way if he gets some offensive support with Boston expected to start backup Anton Khudobin.

Centers

Mathew Barzal, NYI vs DET ($5,200): Barzal has run a bit cold with just one point in his last four games but is in a prime spot to bounce back Tuesday. He's skating on the second line and top power-play unit, and with the man advantage he has three goals and six assists on the season. With eight goals and 21 assists overall, Barzal has been one of the top rookies in the league.

Jonathan Drouin, MTL at VAN ($5,300): Drouin has played in three games since returning from a brief absence due to injury and has yet to record a point over that span. He found the scoresheet in each of the three games prior, though. Against the Canucks, he's in a great spot to pick his production back up, as they've allowed the most fantasy points to centers over that last four weeks (including 11 goals and 30 assists over 14 games).

Wings

Viktor Arvidsson, NSH vs WPG ($6,300): With three goals and five assists in his last 10 games, Arvidsson is heating up for the Predators. Over their last 15 games, the Jets have allowed 10 goals, 15 assists, and 100 shots on goal to right wings, all of which contribute to the second-most fantasy points allowed over that span. Arvidsson plays well at home as evidenced by his last eight games there as he's averaged 15.46 fantasy points over that span.

Clayton Keller, ARI vs FLA ($5,000): The rookie started off the season on fire with 12 points in his first 11 games. He's leveled out a bit since then, sitting on 12 goals and 13 assists. He's in a good spot against the Panthers, who have allowed 11 goals and 19 assists to left wings in their last 13 games.

Evgenii Dadonov, FLA at AZ ($4,500): Dadonov is skating on the top line of late for Florida with Jonathan Huberdeau and Aleksander Barkov. He has just two points in his last eight games, but in a contest that should see some scoring he's in a good spot to produce. In their last 12 games, the Coyotes have allowed 11 goals and 10 assists to right wings.

Defense

Mattias Ekholm, NSH vs WPG ($4,900): With six assists in his last six games, Ekholm finds himself in a great matchup Tuesday against Winnipeg. The Jets have allowed a league-high 36 points to defensemen over the last four weeks. Ekholm has averaged 24 minutes of ice time over his last six games and comes in as a significantly more affordable option that teammates Roman Josi and PK Subban.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson, ARI vs FLA ($5,200): I like this game a lot for fantasy production, and Ekman-Larsson fits in well on the blue line. He has six goals and 12 assists on the season, but has been a bit cold of late. After a great month of November in which he had 11 points in 15 games, Ekman-Larsson hasn't found the scoresheet this month. To say that he's due is a massive understatement, and I think he'll get on the scoresheet Tuesday.
