FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

Goalie

Jonathan Bernier, COL at MON ($8,200): Filling in for starter Semyon Varlamov, Bernier has won nine games in a row, averaging 31.7 fantasy points during that span. The Canadiens have been firing shots on goal at a high volume (33.7 per game), which is the seventh highest mark in the league.

Center

Anze Kopitar, LA at VAN ($6,500): It's hard to believe that there are 16 centers with higher price tags than Kopitar, but that's what this slate has dealt us. He has a point in three straight games and 40 points in 47 games in his career against the Canucks. Kopitar skates in all situations for the Kings and is second among centers in the NHL with 21:51 of average ice time.

Paul Stastny, STL vs OTT ($5,700): With a point in three of his last four games, Stastny slides into a great matchup Tuesday against the Senators, who are playing their second game in as many nights. The Senators have allowed the second most fantasy points to centers over the last month (20 goals and 22 assists).

Wing

Evgenii Dadonov, FLA at DAL ($5,000): Dadonov is riding a seven-game point streak and has been looking to score often with 4.28 shots on goal per game over that span. Dadonov is skating on the first line with Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau, and the trio also forms the top power-play group.

Patrick Maroon, EDM vs BUF ($5,800): The Sabres face the Oilers in Edmonton on Tuesday in their second road game in as many nights. Buffalo is allowing 3.50 goals per game, the second highest mark in the league. The Oilers have been struggling to score, but those issues haven't translated to Maroon. He's riding a four-game goal streak while averaging 3.25 shots on goal over that span.

Tomas Hertl, SJ vs WPG ($5,100): Hertl has been skating on the second line and top power-play unit for the Sharks. He has a point in four straight games with a power-play goal and three assists over that span.

Defense

Erik Johnson, COL at MON ($5,000): Johnson has a point in three of his last four games, and Montreal has allowed the fifth most fantasy points to blueliners over the last month — an 11-game span that includes five goals and 21 assists.

Darnell Nurse, EDM vs BUF ($4,600): Nurse has been hot and faces the Sabres, who have struggled against defensemen. They've allowed the seventh most fantasy points over the last month. He has a point in four of his last six games with three goals and an assist over that stretch.
