DraftKings NHL: Tuesday Picks

This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.

GOALIE

Devan Dubnyk, MIN vs. NYR ($8,300): The veteran has righted the ship over the past month with a 7-1-2 record, .928 save percentage and 2.29 GAA. It's likely no coincidence the heater aligns with Minnesota icing its healthiest lineup of the year, either. The Rangers enter with a 3-7-0 record through their past 10 road contests while scoring just 2.18 goals and generating only 8.63 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes.

CENTER

Evgeni Malkin, PIT vs. OTT ($7,400): This sets up as a great matchup for Malkin and the Penguins. Ottawa has won just six of its past 25 road contests and allowed 3.28 goals and 13.53 high-danger scoring chances per hour during the skid. Malkin's huge season has continued cruising along, as he's marked the scoresheet in six of his past seven outings for nine goals, five assists and 23 shots.

Chris Tierney, SAN vs. ARI ($3,600): The Coyotes are ripe for a letdown showing after topping Chicago 6-1 on Monday, and Arizona has also allowed the third most goals per 60 minutes (3.45) on the road in this season. Tierney has been sneaky productive of late with five goals and eight assists through his past 20 games, so there's modest upside accompanying the cap relief he provides. Expect him to carry a low ownership percentage, too.

WING

Artemi Panarin, CLM at NYI ($6,300): The third-year Russian has found a nice offensive groove with eight goals, nine assists and 59 shots through his past 20 contests. A date with the Islanders sets up perfectly for Panarin, too. New York is allowing the most goals (3.62) and high-danger scoring chances (13.02) per 60 minutes in the league, and the Isles also sport the third worst team save percentage (.897).

Travis Konecny, PHI vs. NJD ($5,400): Now up to nine goals, 19 points and 48 shots through his past 20 contests, Konecny is proving to have excellent chemistry with linemates Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux. The trio has combined for 4.05 goals and 15.7 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes at five-on-five, and the Devils have lost four straight with 19 goals allowed.

Jakob Silfverberg, ANA vs. DET ($4,700): The 27-year-old Swede is too talented to continue along his current goal-scoring funk. Silfverberg has recorded just a single goal and a 3.6 shooting percentage and through his past 14 games, and Detroit sets up as a favorable matchup for his fortunes to change. The Red Wings are allowing a healthy 11.91 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes on the road this season, after all.

DEFENSE

Kris Letang, PIT vs. OTT ($5,800): The veteran has only found the scoresheet in five of 17 games since returning from a lower-body injury Jan. 2. It's a rare offensive drought, and his salary has dipped into profit territory as a result. As noted, this is a soft matchup for the Penguins, so Letang is a solid option who could be undervalued because of his recent scoring woes.

Shayne Gostisbehere, PHI vs. NJD ($5,500): As highlighted, the Devils are in a free fall, so this sets up as a perfect rebound spot for Gostisbehere. He was held off the scoresheet for the first time in five games last time out but still has collected nine points -- one goal -- through his past six outings. Considering Gostisbehere's second-ranked 2.28 points per 60 minutes among blueliners this season alongside the favorable matchup, this isn't a prohibitive salary, either.
