FantasyDraft NHL: Monday Values

This article is part of our FantasyDraft NHL series.

GOALIE

Minnesota Wild, MIN vs. EDM ($16,700): The Wild are 26-6-8 at home. Meanwhile, the Oilers have lost four games in a row. However, the number one thing Minnesota has in its favor is its defense at home (2.23 GAA at Xcel Energy Center).

CENTER

Brayden Schenn, STL vs. WAS ($11,700): Over his last 10 games, Schenn has eight points and 33 shots on net. He also has career highs in points (65) and shots (197) through 78 contests. The Capitals have a 3.38 road GAA and are on the road for the second night of a back-to-back. Since Philipp Grubauer started Sunday, Braden Holtby (3.01 GAA, .907 save percentage) will likely be in net for Washington.

Bryan Little, WPG at OTT ($7,800): Little has picked the pace up a bit recently, tallying six points in his last eight contests. The Senators have a 3.42 GAA, but at home that number actually jumps to 3.58. They also have the 29th-ranked penalty kill, and Little has 12 power-play points.

WING

Evgenii Dadonov, FLA vs. CAR ($13,300): The return to the NHL has worked out quite well for Dadonov and the Panthers. He's notched 26 goals and 34 assists in 69 games. Additionally, he's averaged 3:23 per game on the power play and notched 12 points with the extra man. Since the All-Star break, the Hurricanes have a 3.10 GAA and .889 save percentage. Carolina also has the 25th-ranked penalty kill.

Kyle Connor, WPG at OTT ($12,200): Connor has started 54.8 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, third-highest on the Jets. The rookie has tallied 29 goals in 72 games, including seven in his last nine contests. As previously noted, the Senators have a 3.58 GAA at home, so Connor may be able to hit that 30-goal threshold in this one.

Tyler Toffoli, LOS vs. COL ($10,200): Toffoli has notched eight points in his last 11 games along with 32 shots on goal. The winger has been particularly prolific at shooting the puck this season, as he's notched 248 shots in 79 contests. Colorado has a 3.34 GAA on the road and is on the second night of a back-to-back. On top of that, since Semyon Varlamov is out, third-string netminder Andrew Hammond could be in net for this one.

DEFENSEMEN

Keith Yandle, FLA vs. CAR ($10,900): Yandle has a five-game point streak that has helped lead him to 55 points on the season. That's his highest point total since the 2010-11 campaign. March was particularly rough for the Hurricanes. They had a 3.38 GAA in 16 games during that month.

Mathew Dumba, MIN vs. EDM ($10,900): With injuries to the Wild blue line, Dumba's role for Minnesota has expanded. As an example of that, over his last nine games he's averaged 27:48 in ice time and 3:29 per game with the extra man. He also has career highs across the board with 12 goals, 34 assists, and 46 points. The Oilers have a 3.22 GAA, bottom four in the NHL, and also have the 27th-ranked penalty kill.
