DraftKings NHL: Wednesday Picks

This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.

With only one game Wednesday, an epic Game 7 showdown between the Bruins and Maple Leafs, DraftKings' daily fantasy contest is being handled a little differently. You can pick any six players from the two teams. You can pick six forwards, three forwards, two defensemen, and a goalie, whatever you want. The only rule is that you must have at least one player from each team. Here are the six players I'm going with.

Brad Marchand, BOS vs. TOR ($11,100): Marchand started the series off hot, notching six points in the first two games. He's cooled off since, but in his last four games he has one point and 13 shots on net. Furthermore, he notched 34 goals and 51 assists in only 68 games this season. Frederik Andersen has a 3.30 GAA in this series, and in his three road starts he's allowed 11 goals, including one game in which he allowed three goals on five shots.

Torey Krug, BOS vs. TOR ($10,000): Krug is a defenseman who produces like a forward. He notched 14 goals and 45 assists in 76 games this year, including 24 on the power play. The 27-year-old has also been great in this series, as he has eight points and 21 shots on net. Meanwhile, in his last 30 games Frederik Andersen has a 3.10 GAA and .912 save percentage.

David Krejci, BOS vs. TOR ($8,700): Krejci has notched five points in this series, and also had two points in his last three regular season games. Like a lot of Bruins, Krejci missed some time this year, but he had 17 goals and 27 assists in 64 games. The Maple Leafs allowed 33.9 shots on net per game this season, and in the playoffs that number has jumped to 34.8.

Tuukka Rask, BOS vs. TOR ($8,400): One of the goalies is going to win. That's guaranteed. Since the Bruins are at home, and was the better team during the regular season, I'm going with them to win. That would mean a win for Rask, which guarantees you at least some fantasy points. Rask has also been the better goalie in this series, as he has a 2.74 GAA to Frederik Andersen's 3.30.

Jake DeBrusk, BOS vs. TOR ($6,300): DeBrusk started 70.0 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, highest on the Bruins. The rookie had a nice year, tallying 43 points in 70 games. He's been particularly good in the playoffs as well, as he has a point in five of the six contests. As noted, Frederik Andersen has a 3.10 GAA in his last 30 games.

Morgan Rielly, TOR at BOS ($5,500): You have to have at least one Maple Leaf, and the one I'm going with is Rielly. Defensemen are cheaper than forwards, by and large, but Rielly produces better than a lot of forwards. He has five points in this series, and in his last 21 games he has 20 points. Granted, they are all assists, but that's still impressive.
