Weidman's legs were constantly targeted during the Tavares fight, not surprising considering the former's gruesome leg break more than two years ago. For now, Weidman is both without a return date and not expected to fight again in 2023.

Weidman lost to Brad Tavares via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 292 on Saturday in Boston.
