RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner (calf) made her season debut in Wednesday's loss to Seattle, finishing scoreless (0-2 FG) with an assist, a steal, a turnover and three fouls.

A calf injury kept Turner out of the first two games of the season, but she returned to action in a limited, bench role Wednesday. The second-year player is coming off of a rookie season during which she appeared in 34 games and averaged 12.8 minutes per contest.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner (calf) did not appear in Sunday's win over the Storm.

The game marked Turner's second consecutive absence, as she continues to nurse a calf injury that also hampered her during the preseason. Continue to consider the 30-year-old, second-year player questionable heading into Wednesday's rematch with the Storm in Phoenix.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner did not play during Friday's 86-78 win over the Wings due to an injured calf.

Turner has been nursing the calf injury throughout the preseason and just wasn't healthy enough to play during the season opener. It's unknown when the 30-year-old is expected to return, as the Mercury's next game is Sunday at Seattle.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner has re-signed with the Mercury for the 2018 season.

Turner averaged 5.1 points and 1.1 assists per game in her rookie season. She started four games for the Mercury and appeared in a further 30 off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner is averaging a team-high 5.1 assists per game through seven appearances for Sopron Basket in Europe.

Turner is also averaging 13.1 points per game across a team-high 33.9 minutes. She didn't display her assist skills during the 2017 season with the Mercury considering she averaged 1.1 assists across 34 games. If she can bring those passing skills overseas to Phoenix next season, she could see a slightly increased role.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner had 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), one rebound, four assists and two steals across 21 minutes during Sunday's 88-83 win over the Sun in the second round of the playoffs.

Turner has had a solid start to the 2017 playoffs, averaging 13.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steal across 25.4 minutes. The competition will once again ramp up with a best of five semifinal matchup against the Sparks starting Tuesday, though Turner should continue to operate in a complimentary role to the likes of Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi. Turner has shown the ability to go off on any given day, but the two aforementioned superstars should continue to see the bulk of the work offensively.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner went off for 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt), one assist, one steal and two turnovers across 22 minutes during Sunday's 80-85 loss to the Mystics.

Turner hadn't played more than 11 minutes in each of her last five games, so it was somewhat of surprise that she saw 22 on Sunday. However, the added time allowed her to put together one of the best outings of her season, as Turner shot an impressive 50 percent from the field and 60 percent from the three-point line to notch 15 points. Turner's performance could very well earn her more playing time as the team pushes for a playoff spot, but she's still a bit of a risky fantasy play considering her overall inconsistency.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner taken advantage of opportunities when given to her during the first half of the season, and has produced modestly overall.

Turner has averaged 5.2 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.6 steals across 12.0 minutes per game with the Mercury. While she has played in all 20 games, the Nebreska product has yet to crack the starting rotation. She has however produced when giving the opportunity, most recently tallying a career-high 18 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with two rebounds, one assist and one block across 22 minutes against the Lynx with both Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi sidelined. She only figures to provide DFS value going forward if Taurasi is forced to miss any more time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner finished with a career-high 18 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with two rebounds, one assist and one block across 22 minutes during Sunday's 81-66 loss to the Lynx.

Turner was given her largest workload of the season, likely due to the absences of both Griner (leg) and Taurasi (rest), and responded with a career-high 18 points. The 5-foot-10 guard out of Nebraska is averaging just 5.4 points across 12.4 minutes per game this season, but her unusually efficient three-point shooting (where she's 20.6 percent on the season) helped propel her to a career night Sunday. While she probably won't have these types of games on a regular basis, if more Mercury players go down with injury, it could open up more opportunities for her.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner posted 12 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one assist, one steal and one turnover across 19 minutes during Tuesday's 69-67 loss to the Liberty.

Turner had logged a total of 20 minutes over the first three games of the season, but nearly doubled that with 19 minutes on Tuesday, as Diana Taurasi sat out on a one-game suspension. That allowed Turner to post a season-high 12 points, while shooting a respectable 6-of-11 from the field. With Taurasi set to return for Saturday's tilt with the Wings, however, Turner could see a steep drop in minutes, which could take her off the fantasy radar once again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Turner tallied nine points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 16 minutes during Sunday's 72-55 victory over the Storm.

Turner, a 5-10 guard signed by the Mercury on Feb. 8, helped make up her poor performance from the field Sunday by getting to the free throw line and missing just one of her eight attempts. She's had brief WNBA stints with both the Sky and Stars, but most recently played for Uniqa Sopron in Hungry along with Mercury center Cayla George, where she led the EuroLeague with 19.7 points per game and also ranked top-10 in assists and steals.
