Latest Fantasy Rumors
Playing Wednesday?
Broberg, who hasn't played yet in this year's playoffs, might draw into the lineup for Game 4 against Dallas on Wednesday, according to Ryan Rishaug of TSN.
ANALYSIS
The Oilers might dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen if they opt to utilize Broberg. Another possibility is Cody Ceci or Vincent Desharnais might be a healthy scratch. Either scenario would be a notable change for Edmonton, but after falling behind 2-1 in the Western Conference Finals, it wouldn't be shocking if coach Kris Knoblauch wanted to mix things up. The 22-year-old Broberg had two assists, four hits and 10 blocks in 12 top-level appearances during the regular season. He also supplied five goals and 39 points across 51 playoff and regular-season contests with AHL Bakersfield this year.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2020
Broberg, the No. 8 overall pick in 2019, finally made his NHL debut in 2021-22. He got into 23 games with the Oilers, managing a goal and a pair of assists. Broberg is a solid prospect. He's a high-end skater with at least average offensive abilities, but his decision making with the puck is questionable at times and his physical game is lacking. He should be a regular for the Oilers in 2022-23, but veterans such as Ryan Murray and Slater Koekkoek will be lurking should Broberg get off to a slow start.
